William E. Hicks has practiced law since 1985, having graduated, cum laude, from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1985. An undergraduate of the University of Georgia and a native of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Hicks is a member of the state bars of Georgia, Florida, and the District of Columbia as well as Secretary (1999), Vice-President (2000), and President (2001) of the Piedmont Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in the Federal Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the Northern District of Florida. His experience has led him to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia, Federal Courts in Georgia and Florida, as well as the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
